Recommendations to the clinical medicine for the evaluation of the suspicious deaths.

RESUMEN
Es bien sabido que un porcentaje importante de las autopsias forenses resultan ser muertes naturales, �Por qu� se judicializan este tipo de muertes?, �Qu� es lo que las convierte en muertes sospechosas de criminalidad?, �Es necesario investigar un caso de muerte natural?, �Asistimos a una p�rdida de inter�s por investigar e indagar de forma completa este tipo de casos?. En este trabajo pretendemos reivindicar el inter�s cient�fico y m�dico que tiene el estudio de este tipo de muertes y lo hacemos estableciendo una clasificaci�n en cinco tipos de muertes que resultan sospechosas de criminalidad. Con ello, se podr�an homogeneizar criterios de actuaci�n entre todos aquellos que, de una u otra manera, participamos en el estudio de estos casos. Por �ltimo, y dirigido al m�dico asistencial, se aporta un gui�n elemental para el abordaje de los casos en los que son llamados para realizar el reconocimiento del cad�ver.

ABSTRACT
It is known that a great percentage of the forensic autopsies are due to natural causes. �Why these deaths enter in the judicial setting? �What convert them in suspicious deaths? �It is necessary to investigate a case of natural death? �Are we assisting to a loss of interest for a complete investigation of these cases?. In this paper, we try to vindicate the scientific and medical interest of these deaths by establishing a classification in five types that can be suspicious. By doing so, it would be possible to standardised criteria between all experts that, in a certain way, participate in the medico-legal investigation of these deaths. Finally, focussed in the practising physician, an elemental protocol is proposed to help them in the cases where they are called to perform a cadaver examination.
