RESUMEN

La observaci�n de procesos patol�gicos y otras alteraciones esquel�ticas ofrece una perspectiva no solo de la causa de la muerte, sino de otros m�ltiples factores que pueden ayudar en la identificaci�n y otros aspectos de la investigaci�n. Estas �reas de estudio incluyen la determinaci�n de la antig�edad, origen cultural, condiciones antemortem, modo de vida, ocupaci�n y procesos postmortem.

ABSTRACT

Observations on pathology and other abnormal conditions offer insights not only into cause and manner of death but many other factors that can assist with identification and other aspects of the investigation. These areas of inquiry include the determination of antiquity, cultural origin, antemortem conditions, lifestyle, occupation and postmortem events.
